Process and sanction of refund to Government of Nepal

DGICCE processes the Central Excise duty rebate claims of the Govt. of Nepal under a procedure called Duty Rebate Procedure (DPR) as prescribed by Notification No. 21/2004-CE(NT) dated 06.09.2004.

The rebate of Central Excise duty is governed by the Protocol to the Treaty of Trade between India & Nepal in terms of Protocol III of the Article III of the said Treaty.
